Going BACKWARDS to Go FORWARD.....Pete's blog REMASTERED

Pete's BLOG REDUX....(aka The Completion Backwards Principle)

So it's getting close to the end of the year and I have been blogging now for almost a year now.  My first and ONLY year and so far I freaking dig it.  Its a blast to just throw shit out there and someone somewhere either thinks the same way you do or has thought this at one time in their lives.....

I guess since every dumbass in Hollywood is remaking movies, I figured I would REDO my blog to add album covers to the older ones.  NOW, all you have to do is click an album cover and the song is played.

It's a bit of catch up as I just realized the links were going nowhere which sucked ass and many of you have probably NOT been paying attention for long....and for those of you who keep up, you are greatly appreciated.

My favorites to this day are:

NOTE: I am in process of fixing links to album covers on some of these so if they don't work or if you see a youtube link...click that instead....THANKS

While you go backwards, you can click the album covers, movie posters or pictures as they open to a new page so you won't lose you place, but you will be able to rock out while you read.  Plus, in regards to the cheesy movie one, they fit for the blog.

Please click on the links to the left and ENJOY

and Happy Turkey Day fuckers.

The next THREE songs remind me of my friend Renee from LSU as we were in school together and this is what we have as our bond.  More importantly, this brings me back to my time in the ARMY where I was away from friends but made ONE friend who I just was able to get back in touch with through the power of facebook....that friend is Ted Martin who is a Florida Gator and I hate the Gators but not him. We made it through a tough time in our lives....every time I hear these songs from THIS show it reminds me of that time. In A World Of Human Wreckage----GUILTY PLEASURES Part DEUX

GUILTY PLEASURES part two (late 90s and early 2000s)

Here is the latest installment of Guilty Pleasures and this involves the late 90s and early 2000s.  This was around the time I had just gotten married and had my first kid, a boy so I was going through some serious life issues and music helped me through.  We also moved from New Orleans to Houston which was a HUGE move for me.  Some of these songs ROCK and some you might hate but remember they are MY choices and all have some kind of meaning in my life......many bands such as Slipknot, Disturbed, Foo Fighters and INCUBUS are missing, but here is ONE song that STILL rocks.....

Disturbed - Rise (2002)
