"Another Sunny Afternoon, YEAH I've Been Walking to The Sound Of My Favorite Tune"....You're WELCOME

The title says it all "Another Sunny Afternoon, YEAH I've Been Walking to The Sound Of My Favorite Tune"

lyrics from the song "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" by Oasis....

sums up the feeling.....

So I just wanted to share a few songs with you that just absolutely BLOW MY MIND on some level or another....only I can decide but I think you will find some of them very enjoyable....and some of them you might decide to throw up...it's your decision and not every song touches you the same way it touches me....just wanted to see what moves me....and these are songs from another corner of my musical universe....more of the lesser known songs....

And to think some of these are almost 20 years old....some even older....

OASIS

If you weren't a fan or only know the radio stuff they are a FUCKING BRILLIANT band and as much as you hear about Liam (Lead Singer) and all of the bullshit, he man commands the stage and I love to watch how he sings.....he just captures me with his voice.....and Noel who only sings on the UNPLUGGED show....is BRILLIANT also.   You either loved Oasis or you hated them....its just that simple..

I also think Champagne Supernova is so overrated its pathetic....I never liked it as its too long and boring....so there.

Oasis - Morning Glory (Live 1996)

I love how the crowd sings along with them....the Brits always seem to do this more and its killer

"Tomorrow never knows what it doesn't know too soon "

Oasis - Don't Go Away (LIVE on Leno 1998)

Fucking love this clip.....my favorite performance of this song.....I just love the way he stands and sings....it just works for him and him only.

Oasis - Acquiesce (Live 1996)

LOOK AT THE FUCKING CROWD JUMP!!!!!
YEAH and still gives me chills!!!!!

Oasis - Live Forever (Live Unplugged)
SIMPLY BRILLIANT as Noel took over cause Liam couldn't sing but he was there drinking and smoking

"Maybe I will never be

All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see You and I are gonna live forever"

Oasis - Don't Look Back In Anger (Live Unplugged)
"Slip inside the eye of your mind
Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you'd never been
But all the things that you've seen
Will slowly fade away"

OK so after watching this I have decided to add some of the BEST and my favorite UNPLUGGED performances....NOW I saw these when they aired and STILL have them on VHS tape....THAT GOOD.....ENJOY!!!!!

R.E.M - Fall On Me (Unplugged 1991)
This is actually MY favorite R.E.M tune and look at how his eyes roll back in his head at 1:15 mark of the video....say what you want but Stipe is a fucking genius....

R.E.M - UNplugged
(Live Unplugged 1991)

I first heard R.E.M. in 1980 when they appeared on the scene and I have been a fan ever since.....BRILLIANT!!!

The years are 1990 - 1992 and thanks to the power of music there is just a plethora of alternative tunes out there....here is a sample.....some good some ok....but once again I like them and you might too.....

The Sundays - Here's Where the Story Ends (1990)

Havana 3a.m. - Reach The Rock (1991)

Post Clash bassist Paul Simonon with Nigel Dixon and Gary Myrick ....I liked it and it reminds me of an early version of Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros

Kitchens of Distinction - Quick as Rainbows (1991)

I love all of this psychedelic shit that came up around this time....

reminds me of.....

MORE TUNES JUST CAME IN MY HEAD.....LOVE THEM ALL STILL

HONORABLE MENTIONS......few random tunes i dig from mid 90s

Sponge - Plowed (1994)

FUCKING CLASSIC!!!!!  And arguably my favorite song from this era....The name of the album came from a conversation the band had regarding shock punk singer GG Allin. Allin claimed he would commit suicide while on tour and wanted his corpse to be shown at the remainder of the shows on the schedule. Furthermore, he wanted the fans to be able to throw objects at his deceased body. The band joked that if he did, the corpse would be like a "rotting piñata."

The Flys - She's So Huge (1998)

DaDa - Dim (1994)

Posies - Solar Sister (1994)
