Ok its fucking MOnday and after sitting through that show called the Oscars I have a few questions.....
WHY THE FUCK IS CELINE DION POPULAR?Do people really think Gwyneth Paltrow can sing or are they too scared of her manly husband to tell her?
either way what in the wide wide world of sports was going on last night during the awards? It was almost surreal how it just trudged along like the song November Rain by Guns 'N' Roses
And like that pathetic song by Guns 'N' Roses, the Oscars had no FEELING whatsoever....and speaking of November Rain I get into the following argument every time my friend Mikey and I talk about Guns 'N' Roses being one of the all time greatest bands......
IF November Rain is a CLASSIC, how come you almost NEVER hear it on the radio with the likes of Stairway to Heaven and SO ON....WHY cause of the above mentioned..NO HEART NO DEPTH....and just like NIRVANA, GNR came at a time when rock needed a JOLT and just because Nirvana and GNR were fresh does not MEAN LEGENDARY....with that said there is NO DOUBT that both
Appetite for Destruction and Nevermind are two ROCK classics but just because you put out 1 GREAT ALBUM and half of another does not give you legend status.....PERIOD
